Introduction

MyGrievance.co.uk aspires to become a community and information hub for individuals and groups affected by and/or campaigning against bullying and other unfair treatment at work. As the community grows so will the wealth of information available to new subscribers, so if you're one of the many who say "I don't want this to happen to anyone else", please share your experiences, insights and resources through this site.

The web site is still quite new and being continuously developed. If you find something not working as you would expect, please let me know.

The site is FREE to use and paid for by Humane Resources Ltd, a consultancy run by bullying survivor and litigation veteran Adrian Melia.

What it's for

Web sites like MySpace and Facebook have proved that online communities work and can transform the recreational lives of their members. This is not a recreational community, however, in that it has a focus on workplace and related injustice, and it's hoped that the mutual support and a growing knowledge base will have a far reaching beneficial effect on members and beyond.

To make this happen, registered members can ask and answer questions on the forum • create a profile page and add photos • publish a blog • get news and informed answers on relevant topics • connect with friends • use privacy settings to control who sees your info • form and join groups with like minded people for any purpose. There's other productive features in the pipeline too...

Who it's for

If you've got issues at work like bullying, stress and unreasonable treatment, the chances are you have questions and would benefit from answers, support and validation. If so, you can join up with other people with similar experiences and you can find out for yourself that you're not alone. The connections and understanding you can gain from a community like this one can optimise the way you handle your problems at work.

You may represent a relevant group or campaigning organisation. Use this site as above, promote what your doing and garner support. If you have an idea for a focus or support group, you can start the ball rolling here.

Sanity check

At work...
  • Are you always watching your back?
  • Do you think someone's trying to stitch you up?
  • Do people tell you you're imagining problems, or even that you're paranoid?
